I cant figure out what rights is needed to be able to add a product and sett a classification on it, and get all the attributes from the classification automatic added on the product.
My admin user can do it as it should work, but my test user with “editors rights” can change the classification, but nothing happens with the attributes.
Okey, I may have found the missing right.
The user have to have the right to create a classification ?
I don´t want the users to be able to destroy my classifications, my classes are connected to product-group in our ERP, no user have any business changing classifications.
Hi Lennart,
The permission needed for this to work as expected is “Create Attribute Value” in the Product scope. It allows users to add attributes manually and also automatically when selecting a classification.
Also note the related “Delete Attribute Value” permission, which controls whether users can remove attributes from products.
This behavior should be documented, but the docs are still being updated for version 2.0.
I did a quick check and cannot reproduce that granting classification creation rights affect attribute assignment.
Let me know if anything’s unclear or if you have other questions!
Thank you alukavenko, I don´t know how I got it working with classifications.
But it works mutch better with your solution.
Rights over all is a new world in v2.0 I have a hard time adjusting to what I had in v1.11.
