Terms of Service – AtroCore Community
Version: 2026-09-28
1. Operator and Scope
1.1. The AtroCore Community at https://community.atrocore.com (the “Forum”) is operated by AtroCore GmbH, Johanna-Kinkel-Str. 1, 93049 Regensburg, Germany, registered in the Commercial Register of the Amtsgericht Regensburg under HRB 18173 (“AtroCore”, “we”). Further details are provided in our Imprint.
1.2. These Terms of Service govern the use of the Forum. They apply to everyone who creates an account. Reading the Forum without an account is possible without accepting these terms; the rules on content moderation and on reporting illegal content (Sections 7 and 8) apply to everyone.
1.3. The Forum serves the exchange of knowledge about the software AtroCore and AtroPIM. It is not a support channel with guaranteed response times. Paid support is provided exclusively under separate agreements, in particular under our General Terms and Conditions.
2. Account
2.1. To post content, you need an account. You must be at least 18 years old to create one.
2.2. You must provide a valid email address and keep it up to date. Each person may use only one account, and accounts may not be shared or transferred.
2.3. Keep your password secret. If you suspect that your account has been compromised, inform us without delay at team@OUR-COMPANY-NAME.com.
2.4. Use of the Forum is free of charge. There is no entitlement to the creation of an account or to the continuous availability of the Forum.
3. Your Content
3.1. You are responsible for the content you post. You may only post content that you are entitled to publish.
3.2. You retain all rights to your content. You grant AtroCore a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide right, unlimited in time, to store, reproduce, display and make your content publicly accessible within the Forum, including indexing by search engines, and to edit it to the extent necessary under Section 7 (for example, to remove personal data or illegal parts).
3.3. Contributions remain part of the discussions in which they were posted, so that these discussions remain understandable for other users. You can delete your own posts at any time. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy; posts that you have not deleted remain visible without being attributed to you.
3.4. Answers from other users and from AtroCore staff are provided without obligation. They do not constitute a binding commitment, advice or a warranty statement, and they do not modify any agreement you have with AtroCore.
4. Rules of Conduct
4.1. In the Forum, you must not post content that is illegal, in particular content that:
- is insulting, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory or incites hatred or violence;
- infringes copyrights, trademarks or other rights of third parties;
- discloses personal data of others without their consent;
- contains malware or links to it.
4.2. In addition, the following is not permitted:
- advertising, spam and unsolicited commercial offers;
- posting access credentials, license keys, confidential information or production data, including your own;
- publicly disclosing security vulnerabilities in AtroCore software; please report them in accordance with our Security Policy;
- impersonating other persons or falsely suggesting an affiliation with AtroCore;
- automated access, except by search engines, and any action that impairs the operation or security of the Forum;
- circumventing a restriction imposed under Section 7, for example by creating a new account.
4.3. Our community guidelines contain further recommendations for respectful and constructive discussions. A violation of these recommendations alone, without a violation of Sections 4.1 or 4.2, does not lead to measures under Section 7.2, with the exception of moving or merging topics.
5. Availability and Changes to the Forum
5.1. We aim to keep the Forum available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may carry out maintenance and change, restrict or discontinue functions of the Forum.
5.2. If we discontinue the Forum, we will inform registered users by email at least four weeks in advance so that they can save their content.
6. Liability
6.1. AtroCore is liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, and where a guarantee has been given.
6.2. In the event of slight negligence, AtroCore is liable only for the breach of obligations whose fulfillment is essential for the proper use of the Forum and on whose observance you may regularly rely. In that case, liability is limited to the damage that is foreseeable and typical at the time of the breach.
6.3. Any further liability is excluded. The above limitations also apply in favor of AtroCore’s employees and agents.
7. Content Moderation
7.1. We review content when we become aware of it through a notice (Section 8), through our moderators or through the functions described in Section 7.4. We do not review content before it is published.
7.2. If content violates the law or Sections 4.1 or 4.2, we may take the following measures:
- remove content, make it inaccessible or hide it;
- edit content to remove personal data or illegal parts;
- move or close topics;
- temporarily restrict the functions of an account;
- temporarily suspend an account;
- permanently terminate an account.
7.3. We choose the measure diligently, objectively and proportionately. In doing so, we take into account the severity and frequency of the violation, whether it was intentional, and the rights and interests of all parties involved, including freedom of expression.
7.4. The Forum uses the following automated functions: a post is temporarily hidden when several users flag it; new accounts can use certain functions only to a limited extent until they have taken part in the Forum for some time; and messages suspected of being spam are held back. Every final decision on a measure under Section 7.2 is made by a human moderator.
7.5. If we take a measure under Section 7.2, we inform the affected user without delay and state the reasons, unless we do not have their contact details. The statement of reasons contains the measure taken, the facts on which it is based, the rule or law concerned, whether automated means were used, and the possibilities for redress under Section 7.6.
7.6. If you disagree with a decision, you can ask us to review it by writing to team@OUR-COMPANY-NAME.com within six months of being informed. The review is carried out by a person who was not involved in the original decision, and you will be informed of the result. Your right to take legal action is not affected.
7.7. If we become aware of information giving rise to a suspicion that a criminal offense involving a threat to the life or safety of a person has taken place, is taking place or is likely to take place, we inform the competent law enforcement or judicial authorities without delay.
8. Reporting Illegal Content
8.1. Anyone, including people without an account, can report content in the Forum that they consider illegal:
- registered users via the flag function of the post concerned;
- everyone by email to team@OUR-COMPANY-NAME.com.
8.2. A notice should contain:
- the exact URL of the content;
- an explanation of why the content is considered illegal;
- the name and email address of the person reporting, except for notices concerning child sexual abuse material;
- a statement that the person reporting believes in good faith that the information in the notice is accurate and complete.
8.3. We confirm receipt of email notices without delay, process them diligently and objectively, and inform the person reporting of our decision and of the possibilities for redress.
8.4. If a person repeatedly submits manifestly unfounded notices, we may, after a prior warning, stop processing their notices for a reasonable period.
9. Contact Points under the Digital Services Act
9.1. The single point of contact for authorities of the EU Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services (Article 11 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, Digital Services Act) and the single point of contact for users (Article 12 Digital Services Act) is:
9.2. Communication is possible in German and English. Messages are handled by people, not exclusively by automated means.
10. Term and Termination
10.1. The agreement on the use of the Forum is concluded for an indefinite period.
10.2. You can terminate it at any time by deleting your account in your account settings or by sending a request to team@OUR-COMPANY-NAME.com.
10.3. AtroCore can terminate it with two weeks’ notice by email. The right to terminate for good cause, in particular in the case of a serious or repeated violation of Section 4, remains unaffected; Section 7 applies.
11. Changes to these Terms
11.1. We may amend these terms for valid reasons, in particular to adapt them to changes in the law or in the functions of the Forum. We inform registered users of any change by email at least four weeks before it takes effect.
11.2. If you do not agree with the change, you can terminate the agreement under Section 10.2 before the change takes effect. We may terminate the agreement with effect from the date the change takes effect if you do not wish to continue using the Forum under the amended terms.
12. Final Provisions
12.1. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence.
12.2. If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, or if you have no general place of jurisdiction in Germany, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Regensburg.
12.3. We are not willing and not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
12.4. Should any provision of these terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected.
