How do I know witch License of module I need?

We looking at the module " InDesign PIM Adapter for EasyCatalog ", och we have 3 license-types, Purchase, Rent for 3 months, or updates for 12 months.

If we purchase it, I assume we’ll get updates going forward?
What´s the differers between renting and updates?
I can´t find the information what theses different types mean.

We have not yet tried EasyCatalog, so we don´t know what we need yet to get the connections running for that we need, it´s hard to guess when you haven’t seen it enough/at all.
It’s quite expensive connections per user and month, if you run ID2024 today and want everything connected with EaseCatalog, so I’m trying to understand what is included in the different packages.

Hello,

When you purchase a module, you get access to updates for a year. To continue receiving updates for the next year, you need to pay 25% of the module cost. For this purpose, there is a service Module Updates (for 12 months).

Module Rent (for 3 months) allows you to receive updates for 3 months, then you will need to renew the lease to have access to updates.
