Hello everyone,
I would like to create an export feed that exports all product SKUs and a corresponding multi-value attribute as XLSX.
Unfortunately, I always get the result “Array” for the multi-value attribute. As far as I can tell, this is because I have not disabled the “Convert collection to string” and/or “Convert relations to string” settings. These are always active by default and are influenced by a UI handler (“Make field ‘convertCollectionToString’ readOnly”), which I am also unable to disable/change.
How can I solve this problem?
Thank you for your prompt response, if possible.
Best regards,
Sven
Hello Sven,
Thanks for reaching out!
The only scenario where I’ve been able to reproduce the issue you described — where the multi-value attribute is shown as “Array” — is when exporting directly from the product list without using a properly configured Export Feed. We’re investigating that behavior further.
In the meantime, since it seems you’re encountering this even when using an Export Feed, could you please clarify a few details to help us better understand your setup?
- Attribute Configuration
Is the attribute in question a true multi-value list attribute (not a field)? Are there any additional settings applied to it?
- Export Feed Configuration
- What value is set for “List Value Separator”?
- Could you share the detailed configuration for the attribute within the feed?
- Export Method
Are you triggering the export via mass action from the product list (e.g., Products list → Select all → Actions → Export)?
If so, are you selecting “Use existing export feed” and choosing your configured feed?
Once I have this information, I’ll be in a better position to assist you further.
Best regards,
Antonina
